AEW star Wardlow has applied for the rights to his ring name.
On May 1, 2025, a trademark application was filed for the name “Wardlow.” The detailed Goods & Services description listed in the application includes: “Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, televised appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, live appearances by a professional wrestler, athlete, and sports entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, personal appearances by a professional wrestler, athlete, and sports entertainer; Providing online interviews featuring professional wrestler, athlete, and sports entertainer in the field of professional wrestling and sports entertainment for entertainment purposes.”
The AEW star has been sidelined with a knee injury since last year. His most recent match was on the March 13, 2024, episode of AEW Dynamite, where he faced Samoa Joe.
There is currently no known timetable for his return to television. We wish him a speedy recovery.
