Tegan Nox Blasts WWE Over Talent Releases

Following Friday’s wave of WWE talent releases, former superstar Tegan Nox, now performing as Nixon Newell, voiced criticism of her former employer’s decisions on social media.

Main roster talents like Braun Strowman, Shayna Baszler, Dakota Kai, Katana Chance, and Kayden Carter are expected to have 90-day non-compete clauses. Several NXT names, including Gigi Dolin, Cora Jade, Gallus, and others, were also let go, likely with shorter 30-day non-competes

On Twitter, she wrote, “Imagine releasing talent like that!… place is fing insane!”* She reiterated the sentiment on Instagram, stating, “Imagine releasing talent like that! That place is fed.”*

WWE released Newell in November 2021. Her release came just months after being drafted to Monday Night Raw.
