JBL Thinks Vince McMahon Will Join Another Wrestling Promotion

When asked about the future of Vince McMahon on the Something to Wrestle With podcast, WWE Hall of Famer JBL predicted that McMahon will not stay away from the industry for good. After being presented with the options of Vince being done with wrestling, returning to WWE, or joining another promotion, JBL chose the third option.

“Two. I would say two, that he finds himself in another promotion somewhere. I see it’s interesting. I don’t know how he can keep himself from it,” JBL stated. “He loves to work… and he loves wrestling.”

JBL believes McMahon’s desire to be an “operator” will eventually lead him back to a hands-on role somewhere in the business.

“He wants to deal with wrestlers, in my opinion. And I can see somehow in the next 10 years, I hope he lives a long time, because I think it’s gonna be very interesting having him around… I can see him doing something with the wrestling company somewhere, just to show he can still do it,” he said. “Vince is not going to go quietly into the night and being a passive investor somewhere… I don’t see that happening. He’s an operator, and I mean that in a good way. He’s a guy that loves to run things. And I just think the pull is going to be too strong to come back. And I don’t think there’s probably a spot for him in WWE.”
