Top WWE Star Has ‘Unfinished Business’ With John Cena

Randy Orton appeared at the WWE SummerSlam Kickoff event and made his intentions clear: if he wins the King of the Ring tournament, he is coming for John Cena and the WWE Championship.

Orton, a finalist in the tournament, was asked whether he would prefer to face WWE Champion John Cena or the number one contender, CM Punk, should he earn the title shot at SummerSlam. While Orton acknowledged a future match with Punk is a necessity, he stated his immediate focus is on settling a score with Cena.

“I gotta get in the ring with Punk at some point before it’s set and done. That’s a fact. But I promised the WWE fans that I was going to remove John Cena’s head from his shoulders, and that’s what I’ve got to do,” Orton said. “Cena said he was going to ruin wrestling, he talked sh*t about my family, he can’t do that. So the answer is John Cena. I wanna kick John Cena’s a**. I owe him one. I had him beat in St. Louis, my hometown, at Backlash until somebody came out and saved the day… but John Cena deserves an a**-whooping from yours truly.”
