Dave Meltzer reported that Castagnoli missing the TV tapings over the past week was not the result of an injury. His absence is also reportedly not related to his name being mentioned on WWE programming recently, nor is it due to any kind of business issue.

The report simply states that Castagnoli was given time off. There is currently no word on when he is expected to return to AEW programming or what the promotion may have planned for the show.
