AEW President Tony Khan has addressed WWE running two premium live events on the same day as AEW’s biggest show of the year, All In: Texas. On Saturday, July 12, while AEW is at Globe Life Field in Arlington, WWE will be presenting NXT Great American Bash and Saturday Night’s Main Event from Atlanta.
During a recent interview with WFAA, Khan was asked about the counter-programming. He made it clear that his focus remains solely on his own company and delivering the best possible show for the fans.
“Well, I think we’re going to put on a great event, and we have to focus on putting on the best event we can with the best wrestlers in the world,” Khan said. “So that’s a lot of fun. So we’re going to have a great show next Saturday afternoon, and we’re very focused on what AEW is doing, and AEW fans, and I think that’s served us really well.”
