Jelly Roll Reportedly Planned For WWE SummerSlam

Country music superstar Jelly Roll is reportedly set to make an appearance at WWE SummerSlam. A new report from Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Daily Update has confirmed that the multi-time Grammy-nominated artist is planned to do “something” at the two-night event in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Jelly Roll’s Summer Plans

This follows a recent report from WrestleVotes that Jelly Roll’s upcoming appearance on the July 11 episode of SmackDown is expected to be the “start of something more.” With the musician’s tour schedule open for the first weekend of August, the stage is set for his involvement in “The Biggest Party of the Summer.”

Previous WWE Appearances

While Jelly Roll was in attendance for WrestleMania 41, his last significant role in a WWE ring was at last year’s SummerSlam, where he got physical and delivered a chokeslam to Austin Theory during a segment that also involved The Miz and R-Truth. There is no word yet on what exactly is planned for his appearance this year.
