Absent AEW Star Rules Out Surprise All In: Texas Return

As AEW prepares for its massive All In: Texas event at Globe Life Field today, fans hoping for a surprise appearance from Keith Lee in his home state will be disappointed. The inactive star has personally confirmed that he will not be at the show.

Keith Lee Confirms He Will Miss All In

Amidst fan speculation about a potential return, Lee took to Twitter/X to respond to a user whose son was hoping to see him at the event. In his response, Lee politely ruled out an appearance and wished the fans a great time at the show.

“Please tell the youngling that I must request his forgiveness as I will be absent,” Lee wrote. “However, I am hopeful you guys have an absolute blast. Enjoy yourselves! All my love and gratitude.”

Lee Sidelined

Lee has been off of AEW programming since December 2023. He was pulled from the Worlds End pay-per-view at that time and later revealed in late 2023 that he has been dealing with a significant injury since 2022, which had unfortunately gotten worse. Although there is currently no timetable for his return to the ring, Lee noted last month that he is doing quite well.

While Lee will not be present, AEW All In: Texas features a stacked card for fans in Arlington. The main event is scheduled to be a Texas Death Match for the AEW World Championship between the champion, Jon Moxley, and challenger “Hangman” Adam Page.
