J-Rod, known as The Ultimate Athlete, is the new Juggalo Championship Wrestling Women’s World Champion, adding another achievement to what has become a banner year for the performer.
The second-generation performer defeated Big Al Alice Crowley to capture the title at a JCW event in Las Vegas in April 2026, with the title change taking place at StrangleMania.
The JCW title win comes as J-Rod’s profile has risen significantly thanks to her role on the Amazon Prime Video reboot of American Gladiators, which premiered on April 17. J-Rod competes on the show under the Gladiator name Supernova, with her real name Jessica Roden listed in the official cast. The reboot is hosted by The Miz and also features fellow pro wrestlers Wardlow as Fang, Kamille as Hurricane, Rick Boogs as The Bull, and Jessie Godderz as Steel. The series debuted its first three episodes on April 17, followed by three more on April 24, with the final four episodes releasing on May 1.
J-Rod brings an athletic background to both the wrestling ring and the Gladiators arena. A former competitor in bodybuilding, gymnastics, and volleyball, she has competed across multiple wrestling promotions, including AEW and OVW, where she held the women’s championship for over 192 days, as well as CCW.
