Major League Wrestling has announced that MLW Fusion is returning with a two-hour premiere on Saturday, May 30, airing free on YouTube at 6:05 PM ET and on beIN Sports at 10 PM ET. The show will then run weekly every Saturday at both slots.
MLW Founder and CEO Court Bauer framed the 6:05 PM Saturday timeslot as a deliberate nod to the history of the sport, a reference to the legendary TBS time slot made famous by Ted Turner that carried Georgia Championship Wrestling and World Championship Wrestling to generations of fans.
“6:05 is sacred ground,” said Bauer. “That time slot belongs to the history of this sport as made famous by legendary Ted Turner. We’re not just bringing back a weekly show. We’re planting our flag and celebrating wrestling’s southern soul. MLW Fusion is back, it’s free, and it’s built for the fans who remember what Saturday night wrestling felt like.”
The return comes with a significant wave of new signings. Shotzi, Lady Frost, and Trevor Lee have all joined the company as top free agent additions. Four major European stars have also signed: Joe Coffey, Mark Coffey, Wolfgang, and Big Damo, all of whom are veterans of WWE’s NXT UK brand. Rising prospects Brick Savage, Zamaya, and Jay Bishop round out the new additions.
They join an existing roster that includes MLW World Heavyweight Champion Killer Kross, former UFC and WWE star Matt Riddle, Mexico’s Mistico, The Good Brothers, Donovan Dijak, Bishop Dyer, Satoshi Kojima, Tom Lawlor, Austin Aries, and others.
MLW also has major events scheduled for New York City on June 11 and Philadelphia on June 12 and 13.
MLW Fusion premieres Saturday, May 30 at 6:05 PM ET free on YouTube. The encore airs at 10 PM ET on beIN Sports.
