AEW Collision Draws 504,000 Viewers With NBA Playoff Game Lead-In

A special late-night, preempted airing of AEW Collision on TNT this past Saturday, May 31, 2025 (technically early Sunday, June 1st, from 11:43 PM to 1:43 AM ET) drew a strong 504,000 total viewers (P2+). The show also scored a 0.18 rating in the key P18-49 demographic, according to figures confirmed by WrestleNomics.

This impressive performance was significantly bolstered by a massive lead-in from the NBA Eastern Conference Finals game between the New York Knicks and Indiana Pacers, which averaged 6.913 million viewers and a 2.12 P18-49 rating on TNT. The final broadcast of “Inside the NBA” on TNT followed the game, immediately preceding Collision, and averaged 3.032 million viewers with a 0.95 P18-49 rating.

Compared to its recent performance, this preempted Collision saw a +43% increase in total viewers from the previous week (353,000) and was +34% above its trailing four-week average (376,000).

The P18-49 rating was up by +125% compared to both last week (0.08) and the trailing four-week average (0.08). Key demographics showed huge boosts compared to the median of the last four non-preemption episodes, with P18-34 viewership at 126,000, up an astounding +282%.
