AEW World Championship Eliminator Match:
AEW World Champion MJF vs Konosuke Takeshita
Takeshita hit MJF with a running knee and went for the pin, but MJF got his foot on the rope. He went for a swanton off the rope, but MJF moved out of the way and applied The Salt of the Earth on Takeshita causing Takeshita to submit. After the match, MJF shoved the referee down and hit Takeshita in the head with his Dynamite Diamond Ring. He continued to pound on Takeshita in the head which busted him open until Bryan Danielson ran in for the save
Winner: MJF
Samoa Joe said Darby Allin was a worthy adversary, but Wardlow is not. He said he said he knows Wardlow maybe coming to take his championship, but he will take everything away from Wardlow
AEW Women’s World Championship Eliminator Match:
AEW Women’s World Champion Jamie Hayter (c) (with Dr. Britt Baker and Rebel) vs The Bunny (with Penelope Ford)
Hayter gave The Bunny two exploder suplexes, the second of which was botched. Hayter then gave her the Ripcord Lariat followed by the Hayterade for the pin.
Winner: Jamie Hayter
Saraya and Toni Storm were backstage. Saraya said that Hayter won the match, but she’s still a loser. Saraya brought in Leva Bates, but they both attacked her and spray painted an L on her. Saraya said they are not here to make friends. They are here to take over.
Backstage, MJF said he will give credit to Takeshita and admit that he was very good, but he was no match for him. He said tonight he will expose Bryan Danielson and will be met with adversity and there will be no Iron Man match and he will never win the title.
The Garcia-Guevara Gauntlet:
Ricky Starks vs Angelo Parker
Starks speared Parker for the pin.
Ricky Starks vs Matt Menard
Starks immediately rolled up Menard for the pin
Ricky Starks vs Daniel Garcia
Starks and Garcia were on the ring apron exchanging punches. Starks speared Garcia which sent both men to the apron. A “fan” in the front row wearing a mask hit Starks. Garcia rolled Starks in the ring and pinned him. The fan entered the mask and it was Chris Jericho
Winner: Daniel Garcia
Backstage, Billy Gunn told The Acclaimed that he is being pulled in two different directions, so he’s made a decision as a team to stay in the back for this match against The Gunns and let The Acclaim handle their business. The Acclaimed said they agree and scissored Billy Gunn
Backstage, as Takeshita was being taken care of by the trainers, Bryan Danielson was getting ready to be interviewed by Rene. They heard a voice pounding on the door. Danielson went to open the door, but it was locked. Rush made his way to the ring and MJF’s music played. MJF walked down with his knee taped up and was limping. MJF told Aubrey Edwards that since Danielson isn’t here, she needs to count him out. Meantime, Danielson and Takeshita charged at the door knocking it to open as Aubrey made a very slow count. Danielson made it to the ring in time for the match.
Bryan Danielson vs Rush
The match went outside the ring. Rush kicked him and threw him in the barricade causing Danielson to start bleeding. Rush continued to punch him and then licked his hand that had Danielson’s blood on it. They had a slugfest back and forth with forearms, chops, and headbuts. Rush gave Danielson a belly to back suplex. Rush charged at Danielson but was met by a kick. Danielson then hit the Busiaku Knee for the win. MJF came to the ring and hit Danielson with his Dynamite Diamond Ring and applied the Salt of the Earth on him as security tried to pry him off.
Winner: Bryan Danielson
Backstage, Q & Murr from Impractical Jokers were there to promote their show. Q said since Jericho put him in an ice bath when he Jericho appeared on their show, they decided to steal Jericho’s bat. They invited Jericho to respond on Impractical Jokers tomorrow night.
AEW World Trios Championship Match:
The Elite (Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks (c) vs AR Fox & Top Flight (Dante & Darius Martin)
Omega went for the V-Trigger on Fox, but Fox moved out of the way and rolled him up for a near fall. Omega hit Fox with a knee to the face and gave him a gut wrench powerbomb. Omega then hit Fox with the V-Trigger. He tried for the One Winged Angel, but Fox avoided it by rolling him up for a near fall. Omega then pinned Fox with a crucifix.
Winners: The Elite
Backstage, Stokely Hathaway said there are no cracks in The Firm. He said he does have a problem and that problem is Hook because he cost Lee Moriarity and Ethan Page both have a loss because of Hook and Matt Hardy is looking for a raise because of Hook. Hook appeared and Stokely tried to pretend they were friends. Hook got Hathaway in an armbar and then let him go.
AEW World Tag Team Championship Match:
The Acclaimed (Anthony Bowens & Max Caster) (c) vs The Gunns (Austin & Colten)
All four guys were down. Bowens went to hit Austin Gunn, but Austin ducked and Bowens hit the referee who went flying out of the ring. Austin got one of the belts but Billy Gunn came into the ring. Austin went to hit Bowens, but Billy stopped him and grabbed the belt. Colten then hit Billy with the other belt. Caster hit the Mic Drop on Austin. Caster threw the referee back in the ring. Bowens rolled up Austin, but Austin kicked out sending him in to Colten who hit him with the belt. Austin rolled up Bowens and pinned him to win the titles.
