AEW World Tag Team Champions Cage & Cope vs. The Dogs took place at the AEW Forbidden Door pay-per-view event from the SAP Center in San Jose, California.
The babyfaces had a strong start before The Dogs cut them off and beat down Cage. Cage poked Finlay in the eyes and Cope got the hot tag and cleaned house. Cope with a DDT for 2. Cope went for a spear, but Finlay moved and was taken out with a double team move. Cope with a spear to Finlay out of the air only for Conor to break up the pin attempt by sending Cage into the referee. Clark and Cope hit dual spears. Finlay with a sheleighleigh shot to Cage. The lights went out and came back on with The Gunns, Juice Robinson and Ace Austin appearing at the top of the cage. Jay White was in the ring and hit his finisher. Cope with a spear to Finlay for the win.
Winner: Cope and Cage.
