AEW is off to a strong start with Revolution ticket sales

AEW is slated to hold its first pay-per-view event of 2024 with Revolution on Sunday, March 3, 2023, from the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, NC. This event will mark the last match of Sting’s legendary career.

The road to the show

Before they can get there, they will host its Worlds End 2023 pay-per-view event that takes place on Saturday, December 30, 2023, from the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Long Island, New York.

AEW World Champion MJF defending against Samoa Joe will headline the show. The Continental Classic finals will also take place. Originally, AEW World Tag Team Champions Ricky Starks & Big Bill defending against The Golden Jets (Chris Jericho & Kenny Omega) was booked, but Omega is out of action indefinitely so changes will need to be made.

Ticket sales

Pre-sale tickets for Revolution went on sale Thursday, while general on-sale tickets went public on Friday, and ticket sales are strong, a nice change with so much negativity amongst fans regarding AEW these days.

WrestleTix reports the show has sold 11,025 tickets, with 1,029 left for a setup of 12,054. There were nearly 4,000 tickets sold since the pre-sale.
