AEW made several edits to Dynamite match last week and it wasn’t due to botched moves

AEW taped last week’s episode of Dynamite in advance from Jacksonville, Florida at Daily’s Place on TNT.

One of the matches that took place on the show was The Good Brothers (Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows) & The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) defeating The Dark Order (Alex Reynolds, Evil Uno, John Silver & Stu Grayson) in an eight-man tag team match.

It turns out that this was the most edited match in the history of the promotion due to the Impact Wrestling Tag Team Champions making inappropriate gestures in the match.

Dave Meltzer talked about this on the latest Wrestling Observer Radio episode after recapping this week’s episode of BTE.

“That match last week on Dynamite with the Young Bucks and Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson against the Dark Order. That was the most edited match in the history of AEW, not because they botched moves, but because Gallows and Anderson kept doing like jacking off stuff and pot stuff and things like that. They had to edit all those references off television. That was a little secret of last Wednesday’s show.”
