Welcome to our live coverage of AEW Rampage: Grand Slam, which is emanating from Arthur Ash Stadium in Queens, New York. Announced for tonight’s show, Action Bronson will team up with Hook to take on 2Point0, Jade Cargill will defend her TBS championship against Diamante, Sting and Darby Allin will take on the team of Buddy Matthews and Brody King in a no disqualification tag team match, Wardlow and Samoa Joe will team up to take on Tony Nese and Josh Woods, Eddie Kingston will battle Sammy Guevara, Rey Fenix will take on Jungle Boy, Powerhouse Hobbs will take on Ricky Starks in a Lights Out match, and A Golden Ticket Battle Royal will take place to determine the next challenger for the AEW world championship.
Match 1: No Disqualification match: Brody King and Buddy Matthews vs Darby Allin and Sting
– Sting and Darby attack Brody and Buddy from behind to start the match, Julia Hart then jumps on Sting’s back, Buddy then sends Sting into the steel steps, Brody them hits a suplex on Sting, Sting then lands a series of strikes on Brody and Buddy, Darby then hits a codered from the top rope on Brody to secure a nearfall, Brody then pushes Sting through a table on the outside, Julia and Brody then handcuff Sting’s hands behind his back as we go to commercial break.

– We are back from commercial as we see Brody and Buddy beat down on Darby on the stage, Darby then hits a Coffin drop off the stage onto Buddy, Brody then chokes Darby over the edge of the stage, Darby and Brody then go crashing through tables off the stage, Buddy then attempts to hit Sting with the bat but the lights go out, The Great Muta then appears like, Muta then hits a dragonscrew on Buddy, followed by the green mist, Buddy then bumps into Julia, knocking her through a table on the outside, Sting then hits the scorpion deathmatch on Buddy to secure the pinfall.
Winners via pinfall: Sting and Darby Allin at 12:58.
– After the match, Sting and Muta shake hands and hug.
Match 2: Hook and Action Bronson vs Angelo Parker and Matt Menard
– The match starts off with Hook and Parker, Parker then hits a big boot on Parker, Hook then hits a gutwrench suplex on Parker, Bronson then takes down Menard with a shoulder tackle, Bronson then hits a splash in the corner onto Menard and Parker, Parker then hits a suplex on Hook, Bronson then hits a running powerslam on Parker, Hook and Bronson then submit Menard and Parker with the redrum.
Winners via submission: Hook and Action Bronson at 5:08.
Match 3: Wardlow and Samoa Joe vs Josh Woods and Tony Nese
– The match starts off with Nese and Wardlow exchanging a series of blows, Wardlow then hits two belly-to-belly suplexes on Woods, Joe then hits a sideslam on Nese from the corner, Joe then hits the musclebuster on Nese to secure the pinfall victory.
Winners via pinfall: Samoa Joe and Wardlow at 2:22.
– After the match, Woods and Nese attack Joe from behind, Wardlow then hits a closeline on Woods and Nese, Wardlow then hits three powerbombs on Smart Mark Sterling.
Match 4: Rey Fenix vs Jungle Boy
– The match starts off with Jungle Boy hitting a dropkick on Fenix, Fenix then hits an armdrag on Jungle Boy from the top rope, Fenix then hits a springboard hook kick to the face of Jungle Boy as we go to commercial break.

– We are back from commercial as we see Jungle Boy land a series of back elbows to the face of Fenix, followed by a lariat and a brainbuster to secure a nearfall, Jungle Boy then hits a tope suicida onto Fenix on the outside, both men then exchange a series of strikes, Jungle Boy then catches Fenix in midair with a superkick as we go to commercial break.

– We are back from commercial as we see Fenix land a series of strikes on Jungle Boy, both men then exchange a series of chops and strikes, Jungle Boy then hits a death valley driver on Fenix, Fenix then hits a frogsplash from the top rope onto Jungle Boy to secure a nearfall, Jungle Boy then rolls up Fenix to secure the pinfall victory.

– After the match, Christian Cage makes his return; Luchasaurus then attacks Jungle Boy from behind, Luchasaurus then hits a blackout on Jungle Boy, Christian then tells everyone in the crowd to sit down as he conducts his business, Christian says that he squashed Jungle Boy at All Out, Christian tells Jungle Boy to not come back next week, Christian says that he wishes Jungle Boy’s mom and sister were in the crowd, Luchasaurus then hits a chokeslam on Jungle Boy.
Match 5: Eddie Kingston vs Sammy Guevara
– The match starts off with with Kingston going after the eyes of Guevara, Kingston then fish hooks Guevara on the outside, Guevara then hits a big backdrop on Kingston off the apron as we go to commercial break.

– We are back from commercial as we see Guevara hit a snap suplex on Kingston, Tay Melo then trips Eddie from the outside, allowing Guevara to hit a knee strike to the face of Kingston, Guevara then hits a springboard cutter on Kingston to secure a nearfall, Eddie then hits a lariat on Guevara, Eddie then hits three spinning backfists to the face of Guevara, Kingston then stretches the neck of Guevara to secure the submission victory.
– After the match, Eddie won’t let go of the hold, Jerry Lynn tries to get Eddie off but Eddie keeps the hold on, the referee then reverses the decision, Eddie then attacks the AEW security team.

Match 6: TBS championship: Jade Cargill vs Diamante
– The match starts off with Diamante kicking at the leg of Jade, Jade then lands an uppercut in the corner, Jade then hits a big boot to the face of Diamante, Diamante then dropkicks Jade off the apron to the outside, Jade then catches Diamante in midair on the outside, Jade then hits an F-5 on Diamante on the apron, Jade then hits Jaded on Diamante to secure the pinfall victory.
Winner via pinfall and STILL TBS champion: Jade Cargill at 2:34.
Match 7: Golden Ticket Battle Royal:
– Before the match starts all men start brawling, Pentagon then eliminates Ariya Daivari, Danhausen is then eliminated, Brian Cage then eliminates Dante Martin, The Best Friends then eliminate Jake Hager, Cage then eliminates Chuck Taylor, Cage then tries to eliminate Castle but The Boys save him, Castle then eliminates Brian Cage, Daniel Garcia then eliminates Castle, Lee Moriarty then eliminates Garcia, Matt then eliminates Lee as we go to commercial break.

– We are back from commercial as we see The Butcher and The Blade attack Private Party, Matt then eliminates The Blade, Matt Hardy and Private Party are then eliminated, The Butcher then eliminates Evil Uno, Adam Page then eliminates The Butcher, Rush then eliminates John Silver, Penta then eliminates Lance Archer, Satnam Singh then saves Jay Lethal from elimination, Lethal then eliminates Penta, Page then eliminates Penta, Rush and Hangman are then the final two, Rush and Hangman then exchange chops and slaps on the apron, Hangman then hits the Deadeye on Rush on the apron to secure the final elimination.

Match 8: Lights Out match: Ricky Starks vs Powerhouse Hobbs
– The match starts off with both men brawling, Starks then hits a closeline on Hobbs on the outside, Starks then sends Hobbs into the steel steps, Hobbs then hits a neckbreaker on Starks, Hobbs them throws a table on Starks, Hobbs then throws chairs into the ring as we go to commercial break.

– We are back from commercial as we see Hobbs hit Starks in the back with a chair, Starks then sends Hobbs into a chair in the corner, Hobbs then lowblows Starks, Starks then lowblows Hobbs, Hobbs then hits a big backdrop on Starks on top of two chairs, Hobbs then hits a running powerslam on Ricky on top of chairs to secure a nearfall, Hobbs then sends Starks into a light on the stage, Hobbs then rips off one of the light fixtures, Starks then spears Hobbs through a table in the corner, Starks then hits Hobbs with the light fixture, Starks then hits the roshambo on Hobbs to secure the pinfall victory.
