Welcome to our live coverage of AEW Rampage, which is emanating for The KeyBank Arena in Buffalo, New York. Announced for tonight’s show, we will hear from the ROH TV champion, Samoa Joe, Serena Deeb will take on Madison Rayne, Darby Allin and Sammy Guevara will collide in a grand slam tournament match, and Claudio Castagnoli will defend the ROH world title against Dax Harwood.
Match 1: Sammy Guevara vs Darby Allin
– The match starts off with both men locking up, Darby then takes down Guevara with a headlock takeover, Darby then locks in a gory special stretch on Guevara, followed by two Coffin splashes in the corner. Guevara then chops Darby in the corner, Guevara then hits a top rope superplex on Darby, followed by two suplexes, Darby then hits a suplex on Guevara on the outside, Guevara then catches Darby in midair with a cutter on the outside as we go to commercial break.

– We are back from commercial as we see Sammy hit a superkick on Darby, Darby then hits a code red on Sammy to secure a nearfall, Darby then hits a tope suicida onto Guevara on the outside, Darby then takes off Guevara’s wedding ring, Tay Melo then distracts Darby from the apron, allowing Guevara to hit a jumping knee to the face of Darby, Guevara then hits a springboard cutter from the top rope to secure a nearfall, Sammy then goes for a Coffin drop but Darby moves out of the way, Guevara then powerbombs Darby on a skateboard, Guevara then hits the GTH on Darby to secure the pinfall victory.
Winner via pinfall: Sammy Guevara at 11:05.
– We get a video package highlighting MJF’s return from Wednesday night.
– Samoa Joe makes his entrance, Joe says that it feels good to be back in AEW, Joe says that he owes everyone much more violence in the future, Joe says that he’s open for business, Smart Mark Sterling then interrupts with Josh Woods and Tony Nese, Sterling says that Nese has more abs than Joe has matches in AEW, Sterling says that Woods saved his life, Sterling says that Woods should have a shot at Joe’s title, Joe accepts Josh’s challenge for a match tonight, Sterling says not tonight, but instead next friday night on Rampage.
Match 2: Madison Rayne vs Serena Deeb
– The match starts off with both women locking up, Rayne then hits an armdrag on Deeb, Deeb then hits a closeline on Rayne, followed by a series of strikes, Deeb then hits an uppercut on Rayne, followed by a swinging neckbreaker to secure a nearfall, Rayne then hits an enziguri on Deeb, followed by a sliding lariat on a seated Deeb, Deeb then locks in the serenity lock to secure the submission victory.
Winner via submission: Serena Deeb at 3:55.
Match 3: ROH championship: Claudio Castagnoli (c) vs Dax Harwood
– The match starts off with both men locking up, Claudio then hits a shoulder tackle on Dax, Dax then takes Claudio over with a headlock takeover, Claudio then lands an elbow strike to the face of Dax, Claudio then lands a series of uppercuts on Dax, Dax then hits a closeline on Claudio, Claudio then suplexes Dax to the outside as we go to commercial break.

– We are back from commercial as we see both men exchanging a series of forearms, Claudio then sends Dax into the ringpost, Claudio then hits a baseball slide onto Dax, sending him into the barricade, Claudio then locks in an abdominal stretch, Dax then lands a series of chops on Claudio on the top rope, Dax then hits a flying headbutt from the top rope to secure a nearfall, Dax then hits a piledriver on Claudio, Claudio then hits an uppercut on Dax on the top rope, Claudio then hits a top rope suplex on Dax to secure a nearfall as we go to commercial break.

– We are back from commercial as we see both men exchange a series of uppercuts, Claudio then hits a big boot to the face of Dax, Dax then hits a slingshot powerbomb on Claudio to secure a nearfall, Dax then hits two german suplexes on Claudio, both men then exchange a series of uppercuts, Claudio then swings Dax before turning it into a sharpshooter, Dax then locks in a sharpshooter on Claudio, Claudio then lands a series of elbows to the head of Dax, Claudio then once again locks in the sharpshooter to secure the submission victory.
