AEW Star Is Open To Leaving For WWE When His Contract Expires

The bidding war for one AEW star will heat up between the promotion and WWE as the contract for this talent is slated to expire.

That star is Penta El Zero Miedo, whose contract expires between August and September 2024. WWE is said to be interested. He has found a lot of success in AEW alongside Rey Fenix as the Lucha Bros.

Penta worked for countless promotions, including AAA, MLW, TNA Impact, CMLL, and Lucha Underground. He is a former one-time TNA World Champion and a two-time Lucha Underground Champion.

In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that Penta is open to leaving All Elite Wrestling and has been open to going to WWE.

AEW President Tony Khan has stated that he is confident he can keep him in All Elite Wrestling. Penta recently said in an interview that he hasn’t talked with WWE, which is true due to it being contract tampering, and WWE can’t legally talk with him until after his AEW deal is up.

Penta has said that he’s open to hearing from them, as he wants to look at everything, considering he thinks this is the last big contract of his career.
