AEW Star No Longer With The Company

AEW handles the release of talent differently than WWE as with their rival. WWE simply cuts wrestlers from their deals, while Tony Khan will usually let the contract expire and simply not renew it.

Fans picked up on the fact that one wrestler is no longer with the company, as his profile was removed from the roster page.

Pwinsider.com reports Trench is no longer with AEW as his deal has expired and he departed. Thus, the reason his profile was removed from the roster page a couple of days ago.

Trench was best remembered for having tattoos on his face and was affiliated with Swerve Strickland and Parker Boudreaux. Before this news of his departure, it was reported that Trench and Boudreaux had been out with injuries.

Trench, real name Granden Goetzman, played in the MLB before getting into wrestling. He never made his in-ring debut with AEW, but had been training with Jay Lethal earlier this year.

Because of the injuries, they’ve been absent from television, and Strickland has been aligned with the Embassy (Brian Cage, Toa Liona, and Bishop Kaun with Prince Nana) where they go with Mogul Embassy.
