AEW star was “knocked silly” during Wednesday’s Dynamite

AEW star Darby Allin had a scary moment during Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite.

The episode featured Taz doing a promo about Brian Cage losing to AEW World Heavyweight Champion Jon Moxley the week before. This led to Allin coming out to interrupt with a promo.

However, before he got into the ring, he was attacked from behind by Rickey Stars. During the attack, Starks hit him so hard from behind that he went into the ropes. Cage and Starks continued the beatdown including a powerbomb from the stage ramp into the ring.

According to Dave Meltzer, “Allin got knocked silly legit” when he was attacked from behind.

AEW confirmed during this same broadcast that Moxley and Allin would team up on next week’s episode of Dynamite to take on Starks and Cage in a tornado tag team match.

Meltzer also mentioned in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Allin is wrestling next week, but that’s just the word right now.

Allin just made his return to television two weeks ago after being sidelined due to an injury while working the Double Or Nothing pay-per-view where Cage laid him out in his promotional debut.
