AEW star Darby Allin is making headlines for his activities outside the wrestling ring as he achieved a unique world record while scaling Mount Everest.
Allin, who began his challenging climb of the world’s highest peak on April 8, 2025, shared a video update on Monday morning. The footage shows him successfully executing a skateboard kickflip at an impressive, confirmed altitude of 20,958 feet.
While Guinness World Records acknowledges records for highest altitude skateboarding (set around 18,700 feet), Allin’s feat appears to establish a new, specific record for the highest elevation kickflip ever performed, achieved over 2,000 feet higher than the existing skating record altitude.
This accomplishment comes amidst Allin’s ongoing Everest expedition, undertaken with the guidance of Adventure Consultants. Updates suggest the AEW star is “doing great” on his journey. This climb accounts for his absence from AEW television throughout 2025.
