According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Jericho is in New York City this week filming a TV project and will therefore be absent from the broadcast. The nature of the project has not been confirmed, and it is unclear whether it is related to professional wrestling.
Jericho had been appearing on both Dynamite and Collision in recent weeks following his return to AEW television, which came amid speculation that he could be headed back to WWE. His re-signing with AEW on a multi-year deal was announced earlier this month, making his continued presence on AEW programming the expectation going forward. This week’s absence is described as a one-off exception related to the filming commitment.
