The Hulk Hogan: Real American docuseries had a strong debut on Netflix, finishing fifth globally in its opening week.
According to Netflix’s weekly Tudum rankings, the four-part series brought in three million views and 12.3 million global hours viewed based on a total runtime of four hours and six minutes. It finished fifth overall in the world and fifth in the United States, placing just behind WWE Raw in both markets. The series was also a top ten show in ten countries worldwide.
The docuseries was co-produced by WWE and premiered on Netflix on April 22. Plans for the project were announced last December following Hogan’s passing, with the name and release date confirmed three weeks ago.
By comparison, the Vince McMahon docuseries performed at a significantly higher level in its opening window, ranking as the fourth most-watched show globally on Netflix after just four days on the service from September 23 to 29, 2024. That series drew 4.9 million views during that period with 28.2 million total hours streamed.
