Brian Pillman Jr. to make his AEW Dynamite debut tonight

With just hours until the start of tonight’s all-new AEW Dynamite, a new match has been revealed for the broadcast.

The Butcher, The Blade, Rey Fenix and Pentagon Jr will be teaming up to face off against Brian Pillman Jr, Griff Garrison, Sonny Kiss and Joey Janela in an eight-man tag team match.

What’s noteworthy about this contest is the fact that it’ll mark the Dynamite debut for Pillman Jr. Up until this point, he had been just working matches on AEW Dark. As of this writing, he’s still under contract with MLW but is still seeking to be released. He has spoken highly of the promotion in various interviews even though he wants out.

As a reminder, the show will air on TNT  at 8 pm EST and feature the return of Chris Jericho on commentary. Here’s the card:
