The first signing outside of the Elite faction has been confirmed for All Elite Wrestling.
Dave Meltzer is reporting that Britt Baker recently signed with the promotion.
Baker has worked for Stardom, RISE, Shimmer and Ring Of Honor. Her biggest break on a national stage came when she was featured at the All In pay-per-view in September.
Meltzer is also reporting that Brandi Rhodes will be the key person as far as reaching out to female talent. It’s already known that Cody Rhodes, Hangman Page and The Young Bucks are on board. There is no word on the status of Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho. Omega will be a free agent at the end of this month and Jericho is not booked for anything after Wrestle Kingdom 13 so he could end up with AEW or WWE soon. Some recent social media posts seem to hint that he is leaning towards joining AEW. Marty Scurll is signed with Ring Of Honor through late April.
Dana Massie, wife of Matt Jackson, will be the key person in regards to AEW merchandise. She is pictured below with Cody and Brandi Rhodes, The Young Bucks and Hangman Page.
