AEW World Champion Jon Moxley kicked off tonight’s AEW Dynamite to address his win over CM Punk last week.
Moxley said Punk folded last week. He then issued an open challenge for Sunday night at All Out. Backstage producer/good friend of Punk walked out to the ring to pick up the contract so he could bring it backstage.
Punk went out to the ring later in the show and he talked about his foot injury from months ago and he admitted that he rushed back. Punk seemed to tease that he was retiring but Ace Steel walked out to tell Punk that this was not what they discussed backstage.
Steel gave an intense and emotional speech to Punk and he told him to remember who he is and to sign the contract for All Out. Punk said he was lonely at the hospital and people have been trying to kill him since the day he was born and Moxley is not that guy.
Punk went into the crowd to give a fired up speech and to sign the contract for the match with Moxley.
