As we noted last night, Tye Dillinger is the latest WWE Superstar to request the release. There is no word on if WWE will actually grant him the release.
AEW’s Cody Rhodes took to Twitter to chime in on the news by showing support.
Rhodes said, “Fearless. I can’t wait to see what you do next. I wish you all the happiness in the world old friend.
Don’t settle.”
I should note that Rhodes and Dillinger are friends. In fact, they were a tag team several years ago during their time in Ohio Valley Wrestling.

Dillinger was first signed to a developmental deal in 2002 and eventually debuted on WWE’s version of ECW in 2008 as Gavin Spears before being released in 2009. He was eventually brought back into NXT as Tye Dillinger and got over with the “Perfect 10” gimmick but he has stalled on the main roster.
