Deonna Purrazzo Match Stopped At ROH TV Tapings After Injury

Deonna Purrazzo was reportedly injured during a match at Ring of Honor’s television tapings in Jacksonville, Florida earlier tonight.

Purrazzo, the reigning and inaugural ROH Women’s Pure Champion, was defending the title against Steph De Lander when the bout was stopped. Jacob Cohen, who was in attendance, reported that Purrazzo “got hurt on a spot on the floor.” According to Cohen, the match was ruled a no contest and Purrazzo was helped to the back. He added that he hoped she was okay.

The extent and nature of the injury are not currently known, and further word on her condition is awaited.

Purrazzo has held the Pure title since December 5, 2025, when she defeated Billie Starkz in the tournament final at Final Battle to become the division’s first champion. She has continued to defend it on ROH programming in the months since. Known as “The Virtuosa,” Purrazzo is signed to AEW and ROH and previously built her name as a multi-time Knockouts Champion in TNA.

The match marked a notable spot for De Lander, who had not appeared in ROH since 2023. The former WWE NXT performer, who competed there as Persia Pirotta, spent roughly two years on the sidelines with a neck injury before being cleared to return to the ring earlier in 2026. She is best known for her run in TNA, where she was the final Digital Media Champion.

As of this writing, ROH has not provided an update on Purrazzo’s condition.
