Mick Foley will not be part of AEW Forbidden Door in San Jose, according to Dave Meltzer.
Meltzer reported that Foley has a prior contractual commitment for a comedy show in Seabrook, New Hampshire, on the same date. Foley attempted to have the booking moved but was unable to do so, ruling him out of the San Jose event.
The WWE Hall of Famer, who recently signed with AEW, has cleared the rest of his schedule after Forbidden Door. That should leave him available for Dynamite and pay-per-view appearances as needed through September, as well as in November and December.
Meltzer added that Foley described 2025 as the busiest year of his pro wrestling career, spending more time on the road than at any other point in his career, and that he had already booked much of 2026 before signing with AEW.
