For those of you wondering, Don Callis suffered a legitimate injury tonight on AEW Dynamite.
PWInsider is reporting that during the backstage segment where Callis was punched by Jon Moxley, Callis “struck his head while going down” after he was punched and he legitimately was busted open.
When the announcers said that Callis was being checked out backstage, that was legitimate. Callis is said to have been “dinged up.”
This all happened after Callis told Kenny Omega that he would apologize to Hangman Adam Page. Callis reached out to shake his hand but the Blackpool Combat Club attacked Page and Callis. This all led to a big heel turn later in the show that you can read about by clicking here.
