It was announced on social media by Tony Khan that Dr. Britt Baker, DMD is not cleared to wrestle tonight on AEW Dynamite.
Khan stated that Baker is not cleared to wrestle because of an illness. She was scheduled to wrestle against Ruby Soho in an Owen Hart Tournament match. Soho is still scheduled to wrestle tonight but the tournament match with Baker has been rescheduled until next week’s show.
Khan did not say what the illness is. During the Forbidden Door post-show media scrum, Khan said that Baker’s long-time boyfriend Adam Cole was ill with what seemed to be the flu and that is why his match with Tom Lawlor was scrapped from the pay-per-view. Cole appeared tonight in a backstage segment with MJF.
