Tonight on AEW Dynamite:

Chris Jericho & Sammy Guevera vs Darby Allin & Sting

– Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament Quarter-Final Match:
Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. vs Ruby Soho

– Tomohiro Ishii vs Jon Moxley

Jon Moxley (w/ Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta) vs Tomohiro Ishii

Eddie Kingston came down to ringside. Moxley went for the Curb Stomp, but Ishii moved out of the way and kicked him in the head. Moxley came right back and gave him a Curb Stomp, the Death Rider, and pinned him. Moxley left the ring and walked by Kingston intentionally bumping shoulders and saying he didn’t need his help.

In the back, Adam Cole and MJF got out of their vehicles. MJF told Cole congratulations on being sick on Forbidden Door and he wishes he would have thought of that. Cole told him he was actually sick. MJF said they got off on the wrong foot. Nobody is on his level, but if there is somebody close, it’s Cole. He told Cole if they win this blind tournament, they could run this company together. MJF told Cole he wants to hang out with him this weekend and bond and Cole agreed to it. MJF gave Cole a shirt that said Better Than You Babay.

Backstage, Kingston told Moxley he has his back, but he still has issues with Claudio from their days in Chikara as Rene Paquette told them both to stop arguing with each other. Rene told Kingston he better fix this.

Orange Cassidy, El Hijo Del Vikingo, & Keith Lee vs Daniel Garcia, Matt Menard, & Angelo Parker

Matt Menard chopped and clotheslined Lee. Lee picked him up and gave him an overhead powerslam and pinned him.

Earlier tonight, Adam Page said him and The Young Bucks have an open challenge. The Dark Order showed up and accepted the challenge because they told Page that he abandoned them for The Bucks. Tonight they are not friends, they are their opponents.

Backstage, Chris Jericho said tonight he is bringing out the Painmaker as he fights Sting tonight in a Tornado Tag Team Match.

The Dark Order (John Silver, Alex Reynolds, Evil Uno) vs The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) & Adam Page

Page hesitated to hit the Buckshot Lariat on Silver. When he finally attempted it, Silver gave him a hurricanrana for a two-count. Page gave Silver the Deadeye. The bucks gave Silver the BTE Trigger. Page hit Silver with the Buckshot Lariat and pinned him. Page hovered over Silver after the match and told him he was sorry. The Blackpool Combat Club and Takeshita hit the ring and attacked the Elite. The Dark Order left without helping them. Eddie Kingston came in but Claudio and Yuta ganged up on him. Claudio trapped Kingston under a chair and sat on it while Yuta applied the armbar. Jon Moxley threw out the challenge at Blood and Guts July 19th in Boston.

In the ring, Jungle Boy said he got robbed of two world championships. He wasn’t going to sit there and watch an entitled prick dangle his belt in his face. He didn’t need Hook. Hook ran to the ring and Jungle Boy fled the ring.

Ruby Soho (w/ Toni Storm & Saraya) vs Alexia Nicole

Soho took the referee’s glove and applied the Lockjaw on Nicole causing her to submit. After the match, Soho said she was supposed to fight Britt Baker, but she is sick, but next week she will defeat her.

Backstage, Johnny TV said he will be on Rampage this Friday.

Tornado Tag Team Match

Darby Allin & Sting vs Chris Jericho & Sammy Guevera

Sting and Darby Allin set up two tables outside the ring and put Guevera on the table. Allin grabbed a ladder in the ring and climbed it. Sting climbed the other side of the ladder and told Darby he is going to jump off it on Guevera. Sting dove off the ladder crashing on Guevera through the tables. Darby dove through the ropes on Jericho. Darby threw Jericho back in the ring, climbed the ropes, and dove onto Jericho with his skateboard under his feet. Darby charged at Jericho, but Jericho threw him into the ladder. Jericho placed a ladder on the turnbuckle, but Darby threw Jericho into it. Darby tried for the coffin splash off the middle rope, but Jericho hit him with the skateboard. Jericho gave Allin the Judas Effect which sent Darby out of the ring. Sting came behind Jericho to give him the Scorpion Death Drop, but Jericho escaped and locked him in the Walls of Jericho. While in the hold, Sting grabbed the bat and hit Jericho in the back of the head with it and gave him a Stinger Splash. Sting went for a second one, but Jericho caught him and gave him the Codebreaker for a two-count. Jericho went for the Judas Effect, but Sting ducked and gave him the Scorpion Death Drop for a two-count. Jericho went for a drop kick, but Sting moved aside and gave him the Scorpion Death Lock which caused Jericho to submit.
