Doc Gallows aka Luke Gallows, was backstage at Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite and Collision taping in Nashville, Tennessee, according to PWInsider. There is no word on why he was there or whether it points to anything beyond a visit.
Gallows has been a free agent since his WWE release, which came alongside longtime partner Karl Anderson in February. Once their 90-day non-compete lapsed, the two returned to New Japan Pro-Wrestling at Resurgence in May, reuniting with the Young Bucks in an eight-man tag against the Bullet Club War Dogs. The Good Brothers have also worked dates for MLW this year, including a shot at the MLW World Tag Team Championship on the June 6 edition of Fusion.
Gallows is no stranger to the promotion. He and Anderson worked AEW television during the Impact Wrestling partnership in 2021 before returning to WWE the following year.
He has also been vocal about AEW recently. Speaking on his Talk’n Shop podcast, Gallows floated the idea of Sheamus turning up in AEW and pitched a run with MJF, saying the arena reaction would be worth seeing.
The Nashville taping came from The Pinnacle, with Kevin Knight retaining the TNT Championship against Darby Allin and Kenny Omega, Will Ospreay and Jon Moxley winning the main event before the post-match brawl that set up Sunday’s Redemption pay-per-view.
