Kenny Omega put his AEW World Championship on the line against Rey Fenix on night 1 of New Year’s Bash on AEW Dynamite.
It was a fantastic match and this will surely rank among the best matches of the year. Omega won with the One Winged Angel but it looked like Fenix got his shoulder up and referee Aubrey Edwards missed it.
Don Callis grabbed the mic and he pointed to the big screen that showed Eddie Kingston, The Butcher, and The Blade attacking PAC. Omega was about to hit another One Winged Angel on Fenix but Jon Moxley walked out and took out Omega with a barbed wire baseball bat.
Impact Wrestling Tag Team Champions Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson ran in the ring and attacked Moxley. Omega then hit Moxley several times with the barbed wire bat. Other wrestlers tried to rush the ring but they were taken out by Gallows, Anderson, and Omega.
The Young Bucks ran in and it looked like they were there to calm things down but they superkiccked Pillman Jr. and Garrison and then they did the 2 sweet gesture as the Bullet Club has apparently reformed.
