The news on Rey Fenix is better than it looked last night when he was stretchered out from the AAW show in Austin, Texas.
The promotion provided an update on him via Twitter and said he suffered a muscle contusion on his neck and not a stinger as has been reported elsewhere.
He is out of the hospital but will need to rest for a few weeks before he returns to the ring.
UPDATE on @ReyFenixMx – He has been treated and released from the hospital with a muscle contusion. He is feeling good and will be back up to 100% after some rest.
