Tony Khan has announced updates to the card for tonight’s episode of AEW Collision, which emanates from the Accesso ShoWare Center in Kent, Washington.
A massive All-Star 8-Woman Tag Team Match has been announced. The bout will see Thunder Rosa, Queen Aminata, Tay Melo, and Anna Jay join forces to take on the team of Athena, Thekla, Megan Bayne, and Penelope Ford. The matchup is rooted in several recent rivalries, including Thekla’s victory over Aminata and Rosa’s recent win over Athena in a tag team match.
Additionally, Toni Storm is scheduled to speak. This follows the chaotic events of Grand Slam Mexico, where Mina Shirakawa provided a distraction that allowed Storm to ambush the new CMLL Women’s Champion, Mercedes Moné, from behind.
Also announced for the show, Swerve Strickland will be in singles action against Shane Taylor. In a late addition to the card announced Saturday morning, Jon Moxley is now set to go one-on-one with AR Fox.
