Maria Kanellis has undergone the knife after updating fans for the last several months after revealing a mass was found on her adrenal gland.
Earlier this month, Kanellis revealed her AEW deal was up on October 31. She later noted that she plans to speak out about her time in AEW.
Her husband, Mike Bennett, took to Twitter to reveal that her surgery went well. He wrote the following:
“Maria’s surgery went well. She is staying overnight at the hospital for observation and should be released tomorrow. My wife is a badass. Thank you to everyone who’s reached out. We love y’all so very much.”
The Kingdom’s Bennett, Matt Taven, and Maria made their AEW debut in October 2022 after finishing up with TNA Wrestling. Their debut aired on the October 14 edition of AEW Rampage.
