More details on why Andrade El Idolo vs. PAC match was postponed

Andrade El Idolo was slated to wrestle PAC at the AEW All Out pay-per-view event this Sunday night. However, on Wednesday, AEW President Tony Khan announced the match was postponed due to travel issues and would be rescheduled for a later date.

It was noted by Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio that he heard before the announcement that one of the matches would be scrapped from the show and the reason he heard was similar to what he heard about Sasha Banks.

Banks has been absent from WWE TV since the middle of August and there hasn’t been a lot of details as to why she’s been gone aside from WWE stating that she is not cleared to work.

Meltzer reported in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that he had heard the match “was off due to a health situation with one of the wrestlers.”

Meltzer pointed out how it is likely that the two reasons are related as someone having travel issues several days in advance wouldn’t led to the promotion postponing the match right away unless it was known on short notice. Meltzer also noted that AEW does not generally release specific medical information on talent.

Andrade has been teasing wrestling someone else on this show via social media, but it’s still unclear who it will be against or if it will even happen.
