Paul Wight Eyes In-Ring Return Soon: Tony Khan Pays Me A Ton Of Money And So Far I Haven’t Done S**t

Paul Wight, aka The Big Show, hopes to return to the ring soon.

Wight joined AEW in February 2021, where he wrestled a few matches and worked as an announcer after being with WWE for over 20 years. His last bout saw him reunite with Chris Jericho on the Chris Jericho Cruise earlier this year.

A few months ago, the AEW talent recently noted on Instagram that he was back in the gym after replacing his knees and hips.In July, on an episode of ROH TV, it was announced by Wight that Tony Khan had appointed him to the Ring of Honor Board of Directors.

While appearing on Downunder The Ring, Wight noted he hopes to get back in the ring. Here are the highlights:

On an in-ring return: ”God, I hope so because Tony Khan paid me a sh*t ton of money to get in the ring, and so far, I haven’t done sh*t.”

On the bump onto the car: “I did. Then, right after that, I went and got my knee replaced. Thanks, Will Hobbs. Will Hobbs is amazing. I have nothing but nice things to say about Will. 1, He looks like an absolute monster. 2, He is one of the nicest, humbled human beings. I have met a lot of people in this business. Will Hobbs is [in my] top 3 of the most nicest, humbled human beings I’ve ever met.”
