Finn Balor Mocks Fan Criticism Over Lack Of WWE Tag Team Title Defenses

Earlier this year, WWE rebranded the World Tag Team Titles and Tag Team Championships by giving them new names and a fresh design.

At WrestleMania 40, The Miz and R-Truth won one of the sets of gold in the WWE Raw Tag Team Title/WWE SmackDown Tag Team Title Six-Pack Ladder before dropping them to Finn Balor and JD McDonaugh on the June 24th episode of WWE Raw.

Since that time, Judgment Day has yet to defend the titles on television or at Premium Live Events. Instead, they’ve defended them three times in July at house shows with two wins and a DQ loss against The New Day.

On television, there have been changes to the Judgment Day faction. Balor also screwed Damain Priest out of the World Heavyweight Title against GUNTHER at SummerSlam. As seen below, Balor took to Twitter to note they hit a 72-day milestone as champions.

He also poked fun at fans in true fashion over the outrage of the lack of title defenses.
