If CM Punk has not reached a deal with All Elite Wrestling (and there are no signs hinting at him signing a deal), then they may feel the need to work out a deal to get one or two surprises on the show.
Sports Illustrated’s Justin Barrasso is saying that sources close to Impact Wrestling have told him that they are working on a deal to get newly-signed Tenille Dashwood on the All Out pay-per-view as part of the Casino Battle Royale. As many of you know, Dashwood previously wrestled for WWE as Emma.
The Sports Illustrated story noted that PAC was originally slated to be a surprise on the show but he is now a replacement for Jon Moxley against Kenny Omega. Dave Meltzer’s news on PAC contradicts that because he noted earlier this week that PAC was never scheduled for the show but agreed to fill in for Moxley.
There could be another surprise appearance during the Cody Rhodes vs. Shawn Spears match. If you’ve been following along on All Elite Wrestling’s YouTube channel, Spears announced that Tully Blanchard would be his advisor and he will be in his corner at All Out. The contract for the match stipulates that each man could only have one person in his corner. It will be interesting to see who Rhodes chooses to be in his corner. Arn Anderson would be a great choice.
AEW recently ran a poll to ask fans who they think Cody will have in his corner. Diamond Dallas Page received the most votes.
. @CodyRhodes and Shawn Spears (@Perfec10n) are each allowed one corner person at #AEWAllOut. Spears will have Tully Blanchard in his, who do you think will corner Cody?
