Tony Khan appeared on the debut episode of AEW Advance, the promotion’s new live TikTok stream on the @AEWonTV account, and announced four additional matches for tonight’s three-hour AEW Dynamite and Collision special from The Liacouras Center in Philadelphia.
Owen Hart Foundation Men’s Tournament Quarterfinal: Claudio Castagnoli vs. Brody King
Khan announced a second Owen Hart Foundation Tournament quarterfinal for tonight, adding Claudio Castagnoli of the Death Riders against Brody King. The first announced quarterfinal is AEW National Champion Mark Davis against Jungle Jack Perry. The winner of Claudio versus Brody will be one step closer to the tournament finals.
“I’ve got a couple guys in the back, they want to have their tournament match tonight. They are two of the hardest hitters, two of the best fighters in AEW. It is going to be Claudio Castagnoli of the Death Riders versus Brody King in the quarterfinals tonight,” Khan said. “I can’t wait for Claudio versus Brody on Dynamite, it’s going to be awesome.”
Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Will Ospreay, PAC) vs. The Rascalz
Khan announced a trios match featuring the Death Riders against the Rascalz, framing it as part of Jon Moxley’s effort to build chemistry with Will Ospreay and PAC as a unit coming off Double or Nothing.
“Jon Moxley is looking to build bonds with Will Ospreay, looking to form a cohesive Death Riders unit. Two men who have a lot of history with each other are going to be teaming up tonight. Will Ospreay is going to team with PAC and Jon Moxley in a trios match against the Rascalz,” Khan said. “The Death Riders might be killing the fun tonight.”
TayJay vs. The Divine Dominion
Khan confirmed that TayJay, Tay Melo and Anna Jay, will compete tonight. Tay Melo made her return to AEW during the Double or Nothing Zero Hour, confronting Women’s World Tag Team Champions Megan Bayne and Lena Kross of the Divine Dominion alongside Anna Jay. The Divine Dominion will be watching the match closely.
“We saw TayJay return at the Zero Hour,” Khan said. “Anna and Tay, they will be returning to the ring tonight. I can’t wait for that. The Divine Dominion will be keeping a close eye on that one, given how Tay Melo returned to AEW.”
Anna Jay had appeared earlier on the same AEW Advance stream calling for the Women’s World Tag Team Championships with Tay Melo.
Super Station Showcase Four-Way: Lio Rush vs. Rush vs. Brian Cage vs. Orange Cassidy
Khan announced the first ever Super Station Showcase, an open contract four-way match on TBS for wrestlers looking to make an impact. The four competitors are Lio Rush, Rush, Brian Cage, and Orange Cassidy.
“I’ve put out an open contract to wrestlers looking to get on TBS tonight and score a big winner’s purse and get a big win,” Khan said. “Two men who rushed to get in and sign up: Lio Rush and Rush. Brian Cage made a great return to AEW. He’s looking to bust heads tonight. And then one more great wrestler in that four-way, Orange Cassidy.”
Khan also praised the debut of AEW Advance and expressed hope it becomes a regular tradition. AEW Advance streams live on TikTok at @AEWonTV.
