On the latest “What Happened When” podcast, Tony Schiavone talked about the debut of Collision:
“I’m having a great time. I really am. I had so much fun in the first Collision. I really did. I had a great time. Long, long night for us because we did some Ring of Honor afterwards. The travel is amped up a little bit. Basically, I travel now every Wednesday, home every Thursday, then leave every Saturday and home every Sunday with the exception of this coming weekend because we’re going to be in Canada for a little bit.”
Tony Schiavone said his favorite segment on Collision was scissoring with The Acclaimed and Daddy Ass on Collision
“My favorite part was being able to do the scissor with We had talked about that earlier. We talked about how we were going to do the interview and everything. I just thought they were going to scissor. I didn’t really know it was going to be me, so that was kind of a surprise to me. That was a lot of fun. Boy they get a hell of a response from the fans. We really had a great crowd and we expect another great crowd back in Chicago. Yeah, it’s a good time to be a wrestling fan. I say it all the time, but it really is.”
The latest “What Happened When” podcast also includes a Watchalong. Schiavone and Conrad Thompson were joined by Eddie Kingston and they watched the classic All Japan Pro Wrestling match between Kobashi and Akiyama.
