Will Hobbs made an appearance on the latest episode of AEW’s Unrestricted Podcast to talk about a wide range of topics.
During it, he commented on signing with All Elite Wrestling last year. Leading up to signing the contract in September, Hobbs had been featured on AEW Dark for months and he was in the Casino Battle Royale during the All Out pay-per-view.
He had a great showing in his Dynamite debut match when he lost to FTW Champion Brian Cage. He is now aligned with Team Taz, which consists of Hobbs, Cage, and Ricky Starks.
“Right after I did my whole little thing with [Jon Moxley], I got to the back and had another contract waiting for me, so I got on the phone and called a few people back at home. When I got back to the hotel—I’m not a real emotional person—but I had to shed a few tears.”
