As seen last night at AEW Double or Nothing, Will Ospreay defeated Roderick Strong to become the AEW International Champion.
During the post-show press conference (see the video above), Ospreay was asked about possibly having an international presence with the International Title.
Among other things, Ospreay also hinted that he may also be looking to challenge for the AEW World Championship.
The finals of the Owen Hart tournament will be happening in Calgary and the winner will get a World Title shot at ALL IN. Ospreay said that he wants to put his name in the hat to get a chance to challenge for the title.
With ALL IN happening in London, Ospreay vs. World Champion Swerve Strickland seems like the logical match to make but there are other pay-per-views before then so that match is not being teased yet on AEW TV if that is the plan.
