New IWGP Tag Team Champions were crowned at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 17 in Tokyo, Japan.
FTR lost the belts to Bishamon (Hirooki Goto and Yoshi-Hashi). This is FTR’s second title loss in less than a week. On 12/28, they dropped the AAA World Tag Team Title to La Faccion Ingobernable (Dragon Lee & Dralistico) at the AAA Gira Aniversario XXX Noche De Campeones pay-per-view.
FTR are currently doing a losing streak storyline and they are feuding with The Gunns on AEW TV so it will be interesting to see where things go from here for them.
