Huge match announced for Strong Style Evolved – NJPW’s return to the United States

Kenny Omega and Kota Ibushi (aka The Golden Lovers) will take on The Young Bucks when New Japan Pro Wrestling returns to United States for the Strong Style Evolved show. This was a match that fans were hoping to see and now it’s official because the company announced it on Sunday.

The match was made after Omega and Ibushi were confronted by The Young Bucks at Honor Rising night two. The Bucks were not happy with them calling themselves the best tag team in the world.

Matt and Nick Jackson also announced that they would be moving up to the heavyweight division. In addition to The Young Bucks vs. The Golden Lovers, there are two other matches officially set for Strong Style Evolved.

Here is the updated card:

The Young Bucks vs. The Golden Lovers

Rey Mysterio vs. Jushin Thunder Liger

IWGP United States Championship
Jay White (Champion) vs. Hangman Page

The Walter Pyramid in Long Beach, California is sold out but you can watch Strong Style Evolved live on March 25th on AXS TV.

Matt Jackson commented on Twitter and said that they should have run a bigger venue. Perhaps NJPW will do that next year.
