Mercedes Mone has locked down the rights to several new trademarks ahead of her highly anticipated in-ring return from injury.
The former WWE star filed for “Mone Wear,” “Time Is Mone,” and “Mone Talks” on December 22 with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), with the filing made through Michael E. Dockins, who has helped countless wrestlers with their trademarks. It’s listed for entertainment and clothing purposes.
After leaving WWE in 2022, Mone debuted for New Japan Pro-Wrestling following the IWGP Women’s Championship bout at Wrestle Kingdom 17. She beat KAIRI for the title at NJPW Battle in the Valley on February 18th before losing it.
Mone got injured during a match to crown the inaugural NJPW Strong Women’s Champion, leading to her having surgery for a broken ankle several months ago.
The working plans for Mone in AEW have been dropped. She is also not under contract with NJPW. She teased a WWE return on Wednesday.
