NJPW reveals big change to Wrestle Kingdom 14

NJPW officials have announced a big change to Wrestle Kingdom 14 as instead of it being a traditional one-day event, in 2020, it will go down over the course of two days. New Japan Pro Wrestling revealed the news during Wrestle Kingdom 13 on Friday.

The promotion also made other announcements including two big show dates that will see the G1 Climax 29 Opener on July 6th at The American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX while an event in London, England will go down at The Copper Box Arena on August 31.

Here’s the updated schedule for the promotion in 2019, which appears to be yet another exciting year for NJPW:

FEBRUARY 2ND & 3RD – “THE NEW BEGINNING in SAPPORO” – Hokkaido・Hokkai Kitayell

FEBRUARY 11TH – “THE NEW BEGINNING in OSAKA” – Osaka・Osaka Prefectural Gymnasium (EDION Arena Osaka)

MARCH 23RD & 24TH – “NEW JAPAN CUP 2019 -FINAL“ – Niigata・Aore Nagaoka

APRIL 6TH –“G1 SUPERCARD” – America・Madison Square Garden

APRIL 20TH – Aichi・Aichi Prefectural Gymnasium

MAY 3RD & 4TH – “Wrestling Dontaku 2019” – Fukuoka・Fukuoka Convention Center

JUNE 5TH – “BEST OF THE SUPER Jr.26 -FINAL-“ – Tokyo・Ryogoku Sumo Hall

JUNE 9TH – “DOMINION 6.9 in OSAKA-JO HALL” – Osaka・Osaka-Jo Hall

JULY 6TH – “G1 CLIMAX 29 -OPENER“ – American Airlines Center
