The latest Wrestling Observer newsletter is reporting that AJ Styles is believed to have signed a one year deal with New Japan Pro Wrestling. Nothing is being officially confirmed because both sides want things to remain a secret until they announce it. It’s expected that they will announce it at the Invasion Attack show.
I guess this means AJ won’t be returning to TNA. Since it’s just a one year deal that means Styles could join Jeff Jarrett’s promotion shortly after the (rumored) debut of of the promotion. As noted earlier, Jarrett’s promotion is rumored to be starting in January.
